Koh Phi-Phi-Don & Ko Phi-Phi-Li Islands (Krabi)

Easily reached from Krabi or Phuket, the heavenly islands of Phi-Phi have
always had the reputation to possess one of the most beautiful water in the world,
with undersea floors unusually rich in corals and variety of fish.

Hat Yao .|. Ao Ton Sai & Ao Lo Dalam

Koh Phi-Phi Don, the island with the two moon crescents is the only inhabited.

Koh Phi-Phi-Li has for unique habitat the famous nests of Salangues (swallow of the sea), which Thais go to collect at the risk of their lives several tens of metres high on the abrupt cliffs of the island. The Chinese purchase these nests composed of the birds' saliva that is believed to be a dish with various powers of which one is aphrodisiac...

Viking paintings are also visible in an underground cave of the island.

And it is finally here, in the Maya bay where were shot several scenes of the movie "The beach", with Léonardo Dicraprio.

Hat Laem Tong is the last beach in the North eastern coast of the island, there "gypsies of the sea" can be met in a small rudimentary village.

Several accommodations, of which the luxurious Phi-Phi Palm Beach that proposes superb villas, and the Phi-Phi Natural Resort that is situated at the North tip of the island and possesses a swimming pool plus a small private beach in the Thong area.

Infos! A PADI diving school offers courses and trips in sea on a per day basis. Rental of diving equipment and also dugout with pilot.

Access: No road from the Ton Sai pier, as it could be several hours throughout the jungle. About 40 minutes in dugout from the bay of Tong Sai.

Hat Lo Bakao is probably the island's most beautiful bay with a long beach of white sand edged by coconut trees.

The only Hotel is the Pee Pee Island Village Beach Resort & SPA with 60 bungalows well furnished, water from the tap and electricity 220V 24h/24h, 4 restaurants and bars, friendly staff.

Activities there: PADI diving school, tennis court, sea canoes, fishing…

Access: Narrow trail in the jungle to join the bay of Ton Sai on foot or transfer by dugout in 30 minutes.

Hat Yao is the beach on the right of the Tong Sai bay when you disembark on the island.

Several areas with lodging propose some bungalows on the long beach until Laem Phaw. Some bungalows can be found on the flank of the hill with an exceptional view on one of the most beautiful bay in the world.

Access: Tiny trail from the Ton Sai pier, but the fastest is a transfer in dugout from the pier.

Ao Ton Sai & Ao Lo Dalam are the two moon crescents shaped bays, commonly known through the numerous commercial films that are shot there. One or the other beach can be reached on foot in a few minutes.

The Pee Pee Princess situated on the beach of Lo Dalam is one of the best accommodation, with wooden houses of traditional style equipped with air-conditioners, hot water, mini-bar, TV, telephone, terrace, view on the sea…

Activities there: Possibility to rent some equipment for diving and also sea canoes, sailboards, catamarans…

Access: The boats coming from Krabi and Phuket arrive in the bay of Tong Sai at the pier of the village. It is easy to reach on foot, by motorcycle-taxi or in dugout the beach that interests you.

Info! Be aware of the sound pollution coming from the numerous boats that arrive in the bay during the high season…
